Simply Christian Monotarian Fellowship

This meeting is for those that have come to an understanding (or want to explore the understanding) that God is truly one - The One True God and that Jesus is his Son, our Messiah and that God's holy spirit is his personal presence and power.

We meet on Fridays from 5 PM - 7:00 PM ET (New York Time) [see other time zones] which will be Saturday morning in Australia. Please check the calendar items for your time zone Upcoming events | Simply Christian
This is how the meeting is currently organized:
FORMAT (Eastern Time):
5:00 Meet and Greet - check in with each and take prayer requests
5:30 Song and Prayer
5:40 Facilitated Bible Study, Presentation or Communion followed by topical discussion
6:50 Song & Prayer
7:00 The official meeting is over and those who want to stay can socialize - there is no conductor or facilitator for this portion.
SONGS:
Opening and closing songs should be worship songs. Other songs may be recommended for playing after the official meeting. A worship song is defined as giving praise and glory to our heavenly father and/or his son.
GENERAL TIPS FOR ZOOM MEETING FORMAT:
- it is appreciated when folks come prepared for topics / bible reading under discussion
- use the zoom raise hand function when you want to share or make an expression
- don't be shy - we want to hear everyone's thoughts
- once you make your expression yield the floor for others to participate
- try not to make utterances while someone is speaking as zoom may bring your voice out over the one speaking. You can use the reactions feature of Zoom to give thumbs up, hearts, etc.
- use the chat and learn how to view it during the meeting - yes it is ok to pass notes during the meeting
- If you want to share a PDF you can drag it to the chat and press enter
- You can share links in the chat

- All are welcome but content and discussion should not conflict with these statements of belief.
- Of course, genuine questions are encouraged, but harsh debate is not.
- We will be using the screen share function of Zoom.
- If you don't have two monitors to view gallery view of faces and screen share separately you may want to consider logging in on two devices to accomplish that.
- The Bible study or presentation portion may be recorded but the fellowship and socializing portion will not.
- You do not need to show your face or speak if you don't want to or aren't able to but we love to see everyone's face if possible.
