General THERE IS ONLY ONE CORRECT ANSWER

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Romans 13:1

They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off. Hosea 8:4

And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. 1 Samuel 8:7

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. Isaiah 3:12

And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. Luke 4:5,6,7

Question. How is it that certain scriptures say that GOD alone sets up the rulers of the nations when in other scriptures it says Satan does ? Matthew 4:8,9 John 12:31 John 16:11 2 Corinthians 4:4 John 14:30 Isaiah 14:12 Revelation 11:15 There is an answer to this apparent contradiction, do you know what it is ? Why do we pray thy kingdom come thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven if GOD is already in control of all the nations on Earth ? If our leaders cause us to err and destroy the way of our paths and GOD has set them up then is GOD responsible for destroying the way of our paths ? It cannot be both ways.

Free will is a difficult thing. Freedom is the desire of man, yet responsibility for their choices is shunned. Satan deceives, but he is clever. He makes it look so tempting to please ourselves, and his agents - those who have accepted his lies - cry freedom to choose but also freedom from blame. This is the time we live in now.

But God has veto power. Satan had to get permission from Yahweh to attack Job. God gave him permission but with limitations. That being the case, grace is still offered to those who belong to Yahweh, but even they are warned about what is to come. Egypt did not get to keep the children of Israel, and God showed the Pharoah the results of not obeying God. The people of Egypt got to see it as well. Many left Egypt and went with the Israelites.

People are called by Yahweh to come to His Son, and some truly commit themselves to walk in His path and know His truth. Others come to a church and choose to belong to the social environment and enjoy the fellowship and back slapping while believing that they are saved. (After all, how many churches are selected because they have an awesome children's program?) They believe this because their ministers told them that they are. However, they get comfortable but never submit to God. They pretend and yet make allowances for their sinful behavior. After all, all the have to do is tell Yahweh "oops, sorry."

Yahweh has His people, and Satan has his. One day, the earth will be cleansed. God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. The details of His plan are His. We get a bird's eye view, but not all the details. After all, our task is to walk in the path that Yahweh's Son has shown us.

The ones who live according to the world don't belong to God - yet. However, despite all this, God's plan will be fulfilled. It is not for us to know more than has already been told.

While we live, we must finish the race. We must endure.
