Romans 8:31-39 KJV

The Spirit Assures Of Final Victory

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This agape of GOD that was in Christ the man is incapable of sin. Agape is the fulfillment of the law, not the works of the law, but GOD working in Christians with HIS agape by the Holy Spirit. Romans 5:5 Christians stop working in the law and submit to GOD in faith that GOD who began a good work in us is able to complete it. Christians have a sabbath rest from working in the law and this is the sabbath mentioned in Hebrews 4:9 Christians have only two commandments of agape to GOD and neighbor. The law could not do this because there is no righteousness in the law and the law kills us all , it is the spirit that gives life. The law was to teach us that we need a savior, it is a schoolmaster , because the law cannot save anyone. Once a person becomes a Christian they are not to become involved in the law anymore for that is a denial of everything that GOD did for us in HIS son. The law was the old covenant that is becoming obsolete because overtime the entire world will become Christians. Until that day all unconverted people are under the law and condemned to death . GOD determines the time each person will be assigned to, to be converted, receive the Holy Spirit and first opportunity to know the truth.
