Question The Pre-Existence of Christ Fact? or Superstition? What Is The Importance Of Knowing The Pre-Existence of Christ In The Scriptures?

So Walter, you believe Jesus was the god of the Old Testament.
Does this mean you see god as binary ? Perhaps the FATHER as the greater GOD and Jesus as the lesser god ? Or do you see god as only one but being both father and son, one god displaying two roles ?
I would like to hear you in your own words explain in detail your belief in this matter.

His words are Truth.

His words are Truth.
Yes, Yahweh's words are truth. The truth spoken by Yeshua came from Yahweh.

(John 7:16)

(John 8:26)

(John 12:49-50)

(John 14:10)

(John 14:24)

(John 17:8)

Now, what we see in our bibles, translated by man based on their own beliefs, may not be exactly what Yahweh wants us to know. We must devote the time and effort to search the scriptures to find the flaws inserted by Satan through man. Once studied, discussed, and validated by the Spirit given to us; then we can know truth.

A person must have true faith and desire to seek it. The people, who don't really want spend the time and make the effort, will accept what another man says without doubt. Here in 2025, we have more resources and material to ponder than any age prior to this one. There really is no excuse for those who fail to seek truth.

An example of poor translation is John 17:5 . This verse is used to prove preexistence of Christ. If this verse is studied closely the words “I had” can be translated held, hold. The idea that what was promised Jesus was kept in store, on hold or held for him by the FATHER once the work of Jesus was finished. Jesus was asking to be glorified and be along side of the FATHER, or at the FATHERS right hand. Since Christ was the prophesied lamb of GOD slain from the foundation of the world and GOD through the prophets spoke of the glory that GOD would give Jesus upon the completion of his mission. Daniel 7:14 Psalm 2:6,7,8
Ephesians 1:20,21,22 It was only from Mary’s womb that YAHWEH was the GOD of Jesus. Psalm 22:10 , Isaiah 49:1 Jesus was the beginning of a new creation, a spirit creation. Jesus was the first born of many brethren, that is the first to enter the kingdom of GOD. This could not be if he preexisted in that kingdom.

With trinitarian scholars, they can't even consider anything other than "I had" and then say it is proof that Yeshua was alive back then.

Now, since I believe that "Context is King," then the idea "I had" meaning "I existed" is false when the rest of scripture does not indicate that. He was expected - not existed.

Of course, if that is our logic, then this is proof that we all have been alive since "the ages began."

2 Tim 1:8–10 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began, and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus

Since the expectation since the days of Adam and Eve, the Messiah would come, He was sharing the glory with his Father-to-be. He "held" that glory for a culture that holds all of Yahweh's prophecy as already done. Western culture does not think like that. Trinitarians don't even examine it.

Good morning Outcast, We are supposed to follow His steps.

Love, Walter And Debbie
Uh, I would think we are to follow His example. We all have bibles that we can read. I'm pretty sure that, in a forum, we are to share thoughts about scripture. If there are no thoughts, then there is very little sharing.
