In the Gospel, it talks about the demoniac, the demon- possessed man who hung out in the tombs. Back then, tombs were thought to be the haunts for evil spirits, just as today. People believed tombs were places of evil and darkness. Look at how many horror movies take place there. It's not because there is anything really there, but fear. Well, that reveals something. When you focus on the enemy, he will be there. When you look for evil, you will find it even if it wasn't there in the first place. Stop fearing. Stop focusing on the enemy and his ways. Focus on the Lord and His goodness and you won't live in the shadow of him who is against you. You will live in the light of Him who is for you. Greater is He who is within you than he who is in the world. The enemy wants to keep you locked up in a cave with fear and evil. But that's not for you. Get out of the tomb and remain in the light; because the Lord dwells in light and the tomb is empty.
