General GODS TELEPHONE

GODS TELEPHONE

Another analogy. GOD has a telephone and this phone is at HIS right arm . When GOD calls some person on this private and unlisted phone most of the time HE gets a busy signal or the one HE calls hangs up on HIM. On certain extremely rare occasions GODS call is answered by a person that has a true repentant attitude and then that persons name is listed in a spiritual phone book. These people who have answered the calls now have contact with GOD through HIS telephone or perhaps more accurately telespirit.

Through this one spirit the people listed in the spiritual phone book receive spiritual information called doctrine and have access to all the spiritual blessings GOD alone can give. The people that were too busy to answer or hung up on GOD in this present age will be called again in the age to come or the age after that. Anyone that continually hangs up on GOD in any age will have service disconnected forever and their name removed from the spiritual phone book.

No one not listed in the book is able to make a call to GOD, although GOD does know your number, only GOD can initiate a conversation because all people born into this world have not had their bill paid for installation of the private line nor can they pay the bill because GOD will not accept any of their forms of payment. GOD had to create the telephone network that would make communication with HIM possible and for the people who answer HIS calls the service is free. The telephone GOD created would have retroactive effects even covering some who lived before the telephone was created simply because they believed the telephone would be created, seeing things afar off so to speak . Without GOD having created the spiritual telephone we would all have no hope and be cut off. Remember all of you whose bill has beeen paid, you can call up GOD anytime so why don’t you give HIM a call and thank HIM for HIS spiritual telephone.

Your parable has its merits, LeeB, and it made me think of prayer. There are many anecdotal stories of people we would describe as "alienated from God and without hope" who reach crises in life that impels them to pray to "whoever". And wouldn't you know it! Some evangelizer or good hearted God-fearing person happens upon them to turn them to the message of the Messiah/Christ. And then they heed God's call, associate with believers in common, get baptized, become active in proclaiming the Gospel in a multitude of ways and tell their story of God's redeeming power in their behalf as an example for others to be encouraged by.

What puzzles me is that all these cases are still differentiated by different doctrine! I've heard stories related by Baptists, Church of Christ, Jehovah's witnesses, Seventh-Day Adventists, Evangelicals, Mormons, Anglican social workers and more.

I do believe The Father works through his holy spirit to call his own, and I am hoping we are answering his call together. Jesus is the good shepherd working with his Father's spirit to build the body of believers into his gathering (ecclesia). And I am so grateful to the Father for letting me see Jesus outside of institutional doctrine and dogma.

Tares and wheat look very much alike. There are Lord, Lord people that seem very religious but inside are empty vessels.

I sometimes ponder this story and see its simplicity and its complication. What do you think about it?

Jn 9:25–41 One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.” They said to him, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?” He answered them, “I have told you already, and you would not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also want to become his disciples?” And they reviled him, saying, “You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses. We know that God has spoken to Moses, but as for this man, we do not know where he comes from.” The man answered, “Why, this is an amazing thing! You do not know where he comes from, and yet he opened my eyes. We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him. Never since the world began has it been heard that anyone opened the eyes of a man born blind. If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.” They answered him, “You were born in utter sin, and would you teach us?” And they cast him out.
Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found him he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?” He answered, “And who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?” Jesus said to him, “You have seen him, and it is he who is speaking to you.” He said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him. Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.” Some of the Pharisees near him heard these things, and said to him, “Are we also blind?” Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains.

It is not so unlike the responses YAHWEHS elect receive in this world. Even though they speak the truth they are ridiculed, reviled and accused of many things falsely. You go by the name Outcast, just as the blind man in this story was cast out. I too was cast out for speaking the truth. This is an example of carrying our own cross and suffering for his name.
The early Christians considered this a great honor as do we.

Yes, isn't it interesting that their love for truth and God's Son caused them to even celebrate the flogging they endured because of proclaiming Christ? That punishment didn't stop them.

Gary, the Apostle John in 1 John 2:21 says “no lie is of the truth.” In this statement John reveals a basic spiritual truth that GOD will not compromise HIS truth. The various doctrines of the churches you mentioned all have differing doctrines. I see the reason for this is that they have stopped the diligent search. They have become complacent seeing no need for change when true spiritual growth never stops because it is ongoing through our lives. Also, if for example there are 100 truths and a church has 99 of them but the 100th is a lie, GOD considers all of it a lie. This is because the 99 they have must be compromised in some way to accommodate the 100th that is a lie. GODS truth is pure from beginning to end and as Jesus said in John 10:35 , “the word of GOD cannot be broken.” This means GODS word cannot contradict itself. Jesus also said that the Holy Spirit of the FATHER would guide the Christian into all truth, John 16:13 therefore it is impossible for GOD to lie to the Christian. Hebrews 6:18 All these things and more show us there is a problem with the worlds churches.
There are answers to just what this problem is in the scriptures but these same churches would never accept the answers.
