How is time measured? We know that the sun, moon and stars give us a heavenly clock. From the first day till the end of the third day there was no sun, moon or stars. These were created on the fourth day. Our way of determining time began on the fourth day. Before the 4th day the glory of God illuminated the Earth as in Revelation 21:23 & 22:5.. Notice the Earth was existing but was in a state of confusion and chaos and God separated light from darkness or the Kingdom of God from the kingdom of Satan who led the angelic rebellion that damaged the Earth. God then prepares the Earth for man. I think Satan rebelled because man was to be Gods heir and not angels. If you ask, what time was it, was it Tuesday at 4 pm; you can’t have an answer because everything you need to determine time did not yet exist Until the 4th day. The first estate of the angels was the pre-Adamic Earth. Earth was all there was. This is when the prehistoric dinosaurs existed and perhaps were killed in Satans rebellion. Could God on the 4th day create all other planets, stars and moons and place them where He wanted them to be, then set them in motion to begin time ?

Heaven is not a place that contains God, it is the state of existence of God. God fills Heaven and Earth, that means all of physical creation. God fills everything outside of this creation. God's words and work are not bound by time or anything else. Isaiah 55:8-11 Psalm 33:6-9. God created time, space, matter and energy and He didn't tell us how He did it. Acts 17:29 we cannot apply our thoughts or knowledge to analyze God. God's thoughts and ways are higher than ours. I have read theories here on Simply Christian about how God did things, if you were not there then you cannot know. Accept in faith that God is the creator and the secret things concerning that belong to Him. We can only know those things that are revealed.

I have just read online about a new discovery made by the James Webb telescope. Scientists thought that galaxies very far away would be much younger than our Milky Way. After seeing the Webb images they were shocked to find that these very distant galaxies were the same age as our own. This discovery casts doubt on a big bang creation.
