If the temple is going to be rebuilt in Jerusalem and the law of Moses applied, why would a gentile do this? The image in Daniel of the man with the head of gold down to the feet of clay and iron; the two legs of the ancient Roman empire in the east and west. These two feet represent the territory of the Antichrist which contains the nations from Iran to Italy. The little horn with eyes and a mouth speaking blasphemy is modern day Israel, having a look more stout than his fellow nations because of possessing nuclear weapons. The future is down the road for us all and what things look like now may be very different then. Things are going to change drastically and the new world superpower Israel/Judah will shape that world but it will not stand long.

The "restraint" Paul referred to is the angels spoken of in John's vision in Revelation. The vision of the four angels holding back the winds of destruction shows that the angels have been holding back, or restraining, the nations from attacking religious institutions.



"Then, indeed, the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the spirit of his mouth and bring to nothing by the manifestation of his presence."



Now that Jesus has been made king in heaven and the Devil has been cast down, it is the appointed time for Christ to make an accounting with all those on earth who claim to represent God. By Christ's command, the angels will let go of the "restraint." The figurative plagues on religious institutions will now begin.

I have studied, read views, and looked at this realm of prophecy several times. I also learned that there are more than a few views about what we should expect. In short, all these views look valid to those who hold them. I never once had the gall to accuse any view as coming from a Satanist.

There are valid points for those who see the people of Israel to be brought into the fold of the Church that Yeshua established. There are valid points for those who see fallen Israel to be judged by Yahweh and to perish.

While we are provided a place to discuss our views and share our thoughts and - perish the thought! - learn from others that cause us to reexamine our previous understandings; we are not provided a place to attack and insult each other.
