Why Are The Names Of The Tribes Of Carnal Israel Named On The Elect Saints

In Revelation 7 the elect saints are sealed and the number of them is 144000. They are the tribes of spiritual Israel. Why are the saints in tribes that were of carnal Israel, why are their names used for us?
In Genesis 48:5 Israel adopts Joseph's two sons Ephriam and Manasseh, who were Egyptians, as it says they would be sons of Israel just as Ruben or Simeon are. Also in Genesis 48:16 Israel says, "Let my name be named on them", the name of Israel.


KJV Genesis 48:5
5. And now thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, which were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.

KJV Genesis 48:16
16. The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

Another scripture is Exodus 12:48. The carnal nation would accept a stranger into Israel provided they became circumcised and keep the law.

48. And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

This is a shadow of our being grafted into spiritual Israel while the unbelieving carnal Israelites were broken off. In carnal Israel you could not eat the Passover unless you were born in the land but in spiritual Israel you had to be born again by the holy spirit to eat the Passover of Jesus. Hebrews 13:10
The Father, the one true God, adopts us as His sons and daughters and we are every bit as much of God as Jesus is.

The saints are grafted in, adopted into spiritual Israel and The name of Israel is named on us as it was the sons of Joseph.

We are the holy seed by adoption and are sons and daughters of God and Jesus Christ is our elder brother, the first born of many. WE are the Israel of God, twelve spiritual tribes, the first fruits of His creation.

16. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

I think it goes beyond what I can reason how we may be declared to be a part of an individual tribe. But, God knows.

Acts 15:5 an attempt was made to make this a practice of the church. The carnal nation of Israel was a shadow without substance. What they did in the flesh was symbolic of the spirit. The truth is only by the Elijah that has come and is in the process of restoring all things to HIS church. The same spirit and power in the Tishbite and the Baptist is working in us now. Time for a review of why the 12 tribes listed in Revelation 7 are the church, the elect saints of GOD.

Understanding shadows is important to gain knowledge of the light. Recall the sin of Adam and Eve. Once they realized they were naked they tried covering themselves but GOD killed animals to cover their nakedness. This act was carried over into the law where animals were sacrificed to cover Israel’s sins. Therefore nakedness is symbolic of sin. All of Israel’s sacrifices were not able to cover the nakedness of sin. The sacrifice of Jesus was accepted by GOD as the covering for the nakedness of sin . Paul touches on this in 2 Corinthians 5:3,4 , 1 Corinthians 15:53,54 , this idea is also in Revelation 3:17,18 Revelation 16:15
The saints have had there nakedness covered by the sacrifice of Christ and not of bull and goats. Hebrews 10:4 There are many shadows in the scriptures and as nakedness is one so is the understanding of the shadow of carnal Israel when brought into the light of Christ. As a carnal Israelite was a shadow of the spiritual Israelite. The fig tree was carnal Israel but the olive tree is spiritual Israel.
Jesus cursed the fig tree that bore no fruit meaning carnal Israel bore no fruit to GOD. These were the branches broken off the olive tree and the gentiles grafted in. The olive tree contains fruit from both Israel’s or saints of the old covenant and saints of the new covenant times. Example; Moses, Abraham are the old but Cornelius and Luke or Titus the new. In the olive tree there are no genealogies as all are one in Christ. The olive tree is the church from all time, the entire 144,000. Therefore the 12 tribes in Revelation 7 are the olive tree and cannot be the fig tree. When certain scriptures present a puzzling effect remember the shadows and the light.

I do understand what you are saying. I'm waiting on God to let me know about the symbology contained in specific numbers and descriptions beyond the ones I currently understand. The list of the 144,000 seems to be too descriptive for me.
