When Jesus said do not judge lest you be judge (Matt 7:1) he did not mean for Christians not judge at all!
For in John 7:24 he commands Christians to judge with a right judgment, i.e., do not judge by mere appearances or hypocritically (as he goes on to warn in Matt 7).
Similarly, Paul commands the churches to judge matters among themselves.
Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? 1Cor 6:2
