Anyone who claims to be a Christian yet constantly finds fault with others and rejoices in their down fall or continually finds fault is not of the love of GOD. We are to forgive and love our neighbors even if they are unconverted, even if they have hurt us.
To continually drag up the past or point out the sins of others is not of GODS love, is not Christian. Yes, we know that certain people or organizations have hurt many people but we cannot carry a grudge. If we want GOD to forgive us then we must forgive them. Matthew 6:15 The proper attitude is, 2 Timothy 2:25 Titus 3:2 James 3:17,18 Romans 12:17,18

Consider your conduct before our GOD and ask yourselves honestly, am I doing things that violate Christian principles , of which are all founded in GODS love ? Constant rebuking and rebutting people who obviously do not have the Holy Spirit is an extreme lack of spiritual wisdom. Jesus said, Matthew 15:14 , all Christians should agree with Christ, LET THEM ALONE.

Grudges are simply a heart condition.

Until that is healed, living in the past and carrying a grudge may continue. And that does nothing to bring peace to a life.

You are correct Outcast. The past is the old man that needs to die so that the new man can live. Some have not learned this. Rather than dwell in the past and remain bitter over it a person needs to let it go and concentrate on their spiritual growth in Christ.
