“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that

you may know the hope to which he has called you …”

Excerpt:
I know you’ve been hurt. And oh, how this world is imperfect and hurtful. Yet, even with that being true, I hold tight to the promises that God still has good for us. Even in the hurt. Even despite the hurt. Even today.

For me and for you.

Dear Jesus, give us eyes to see the good again. Help us to see good in our life and in people. Most of all, help us see and know of Your goodness that we might long to serve You more and more. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

With each passing day, I'm becoming more and more of a cynic.

Don't get me wrong, there is good to be seen. But soo many have been conditioned or deceived into believing that good is evil, and evil is good, that........well.......it's mind numbing.

“What was” is a place we often revert to and dwell in unnecessarily, rehashing painful things in our history, living in regret and resentment."
Or... In my case, remembering when my kids were small and how I will never have that opportunity again.
It's a good write-up, and she's right.
So.. I pray a prayer and say, " what good things are next Lord"?
