I had a friend share that he does 13 devotionals every morning! Wow!
So that got me to wondering what everyone else does to carve out some "me and God time"
I try to get up an hour before the kids, get myself a coffee and sit in my recliner in my den and I play my bible reading on my Dwell app while I read along in my paper bible. I don't touch social media or email until I've done this! Well that's my goal at any rate. I say a prayer before the bible reading then I say a longer one after and I try to just sit and "listen" for the holy spirit to reveal things to me or give me direction for that day. I'll ask God what he wants me to focus on that day or to please reveal it to me.
The the kids start waking up and I'm launched into my day. While I'm barking out - brush your teeth, get your bag, brush your hair orders I'm reading my devotionals and sharing some on here.
Then once the kids get on the bus I'm in my office answering whatsapp and email and working on whatever project I've been compelled to work on.
Most days I have some sort of bible study in the afternoon or evening.
