There are differences of opinion on what the saints will become in the resurrection when Christ returns.
The two schools of thought are that we will be glorified flesh or spirit composed beings. Now in my study of the scriptures I have not seen anything that directly informs us of which one of these is true, however it is possible to find the answer by putting scriptures together that speak about this subject. The phrase “glorified flesh “ or “spirit being “ does not appear in the Bible but there are descriptions of what someone who is born again or born from above or born of the spirit is like. John 3:8 We are to become like the wind. Jesus gave only two categories of beings in , John 3:6 there is nothing said here about glorified flesh. Mark 12:25 We will be like the angels in heaven. Paul in , 1 Corinthians 15:44 says we are raised in a spiritual body. Then referring to Jesus , Paul called the second Adam a “life giving spirit “. 1 Corinthians 15:45 In another place, 2 Corinthians 3:18 and another in , Romans 8:29 says we will be transformed into the same image as Jesus is now, which is a life giving spirit.
Many scriptures call the flesh our problem and we need to be clothed with another body, 2 Corinthians 5:4 Paul also says this, 2 Corinthians 5:1 Peter says, 2 Peter 1:14 he is referring to the transfiguration when he saw Jesus glorified. 2 Peter 1:16,17,18 In my view the body we will receive in the resurrection will be composed of 100% spirit and our human spirit, now sealed in righteousness and love, will be in that body. What this means is that we will no longer be human beings but spirit beings. Jesus did say the flesh profits nothing, John 6:63 , so why would GOD glorify it ?
In the transfiguration, Paul’s encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus, and in the book of Revelation it is shown what Jesus looks like now that he is glorified. Also in 1 Corinthians 15:50 Paul says that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of GOD. Now, a reasonable person should be able to put all the scriptures I have given and with GODS help and guidance be able to answer the Title question , 1 Corinthians 15:35
