General What is Grace?

Hi everyone,

Can someone post some information about what the term “grace” means in the Bible? This is a relatively new term for me so references to any insightful articles, and especially Bible verses, and Bible translations will be helpful. There probably already is information posted on this site about this topic, so if you can direct me to that it will be helpful also. Thanks everyone!

Great question! Our JW bible calls it "undeserved kindness".

@Jim Fielder wrote a book called "Lost in Grace". I have come to understand it as a free gift - we don't have to do anything to earn it.

I try to be a "woman of grace" meaning freely forgiving even if the person doesn't deserve it.

These are just my opinions - I'm sure there are more scholarly views.
