General What happened in Gethsemane. Did Jesus want to avoid the cross, or was something else going on ?

Did Jesus “chicken out”? This is what some say. There was indeed something else going on, do you know what it was ?

Jesus was fine during the entire time with his disciples at the passover meal. John 12:27. Jesus was totally determined to go to the cross. There was another player in this story, one who tried to get Jesus before but failed, and he waited for a more opportune time to attack Jesus. Luke 4:13. Satan had one last chance to do something to Jesus and time was running out. Matthew 26:38 Jesus thought he was going to die an angel had to come and help Jesus. Luke 22:43. This was similar to Matthew 4:11. If Satan could kill Jesus in the garden then Jesus would not be crucified. Jesus prayed for help for this cup to pass but if God willed this attack then, thy will be done. Shortly after Jesus was fine the attack was over and he went on to the cross. Hebrews 5:7 has been misunderstood. It is not Jesus. It says, who in the days of his flesh. Is referring back to Melchizedek, all of verse 7 is about Melchizedek not Jesus. When reading the accounts of the incident in the garden did Jesus vehemently cry with tears ?
No. Verse 8 then goes on to compare Melchizedek with Jesus. Notice the one who cried loudly with tears was saved from death, he was heard because of his Godly fear. Would this then say Jesus escaped the cross ? Some translations falsely put In the name of Jesus which adds more to the lie.
