Ezekiel 21:27 is a prophecy that has many different interpretations. This is mine. The three times the word overturn, ruin, destruction or whatever word is used three times in this verse is about the three destructions of the temple. The first by the Babylonians, the second by the Romans and the third and last by Jesus. Jesus is the one whose right it is. Ezekiel 21:1-5 shows this is a prophecy against Jerusalem in the land of Israel. Ezekiel 21:25 is the antichrist , the profane and wicked prince of Israel, the false messiah of the future who will be removed by the Christ of God. The first and second temples were both destroyed on the same day, the 9th of Av, the first in 586 BC the second in 70 AD . The Jewish people today observe this day called Tisha B’Av or ninth of Av. If the two were destroyed on the same day will the third be also ? Genesis 49:10 is closely related to Ezekiel 21:27 .

I believe that a Shiloh will be sent. I just don’t know when, but when the spirit of truth comes, he shall possess what Jesus has.

12I still have much to tell you, but you cannot yet bear to hear it. 13However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. 14He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you. 15Everything that belongs to the Father is Mine. That is why I said that the Spirit will take from what is Mine and disclose it to you.

Perhaps that scepter is the right and power to rule and instruct. He shall show it when he comes.

The scepter represents the rule of kings and the lawgiver is the priesthood. Under the law these two officers were separated but Christ was of Melchizedek not Aaron. Under Christ the saints are kings and priests like Jesus of Melchizedek. The scepter then departed from Judah, the line of kings, and the lawgiver departed from the priesthood and both were in Jesus. This is what Hebrews 7:1-25 is about. Revelation 5:10 The Shiloh that was sent is Jesus, the people, the kingdom of God is given to Jesus.

Yes, Jesus was a Jew through his mother. In order to be the messiah one had to be a son of David, a decent of king David. Acts 2:29-31 Jesus is the rightful heir of the throne of Israel. Jesus was not a priest of the Levitical priesthood, Hebrews 8:1-5 . Jesus is the high priest after the order of Melchizedek that combined the offices of king and priest that under the law were separated. As king Jesus will rule in the kingdom of God as priest he is the high priest or mediator between God and humanity the shadow of this was the high priest of ancient Israel who entered the most holy place once a year on the day of atonement to intercede for the people but Jesus entered heaven itself to the right hand of God where he intercedes for us. Hebrews 7:11-18 . I hope this answers your question Kaironaut.

As an interesting side note, we all are the dust of the ground every bit as much as Adam was. God formed Adam, man, from the dust of the ground. Jesus therefore was also formed from the dust of the ground, his mother, and Jesus was given a human spirit, the breath of life. These things are what make us all human. The exception to this in the case of Jesus is that his father was , like Adam not human but was the Almighty God making Jesus the second Adam. The human spirit of Jesus was completely immersed in his Father and his Father completely in him so that they were one or in total unity of agreement as Jesus always did the will of his Father. Since Jesus did not come from Adam the Adamic sin was not on him, remember it says, as in Adam all sin, not as in Eve. This is why the necessity of a virgin birth. Eve was not given dominion of the Earth, Adam was. Sin did not enter the world after Eve ate the forbidden fruit, it was when Adam ate, then the eyes of both were open to know both good and evil and sin entered the world.

This is an interesting post. I will have to dwell on it for a while, as it seems that you are saying that Jesus could not sin. Doesn't that imply that He was not able to be tempted to sin? You did mention Mary - who did come from Adam.

Hebrews 2:17 ESV Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

I want to remind you that I cannot teach and have no desire to lead. The things I write are what Yahweh taught me through Jesus and before HE did I knew nothing about them. I am nothing but Yahweh and Christ are everything and all the glory is theirs. This is how the elect learn and deceptions can not enter

But you can show your thoughts and beliefs for others to ponder. That is what I look for.

Not completely. The context in Genesis seems to imply the house/bloodline of Judah. If Jesus is the Shiloh, it seems to be that he hasn’t exhausted the prophecy, since he’s still firmly within the bloodline. I was thinking along the line of somebody completely outside Judah’s bloodline to exhaust it. SomeONE to possess the iron scepter. While the saints may still qualify, the single vanguard has to precede them somehow.

John 18:36 Jesus, Shiloh, has not yet returned to claim his kingdom. The saints wait for Genesis 49:10 to be fulfilled. It has partly be fulfilled in the church but completely when Christ returns and is king of the kingdom of God and the saints kings and priests with him. The kings of ancient Israel were only a shadow with much symbolism but Jesus will be the true substance and spiritual reality. This is when the prophecy will be exhausted.

The verses you gave above confirm that God gave Jesus everything and Jesus will share that everything with the saints thus the saints are joint heirs with Jesus. To take from what is mine (that the Father gave to Jesus) , everything, and disclose it to us. Romans 8:17 , Galatians 3:29 , Ephesians 3:6 , Luke 22:29
