Love this verses, makes me think of what our Lord Jesus says on John 10:17-18 ESV " For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.” In John 10:11 He says "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep". Jesus suffered greatly for us in His death but His death is not in vain. I am so glad to know that He Is ALIVE today and Is interceding for us (Romans 8:34). Jesus loves us!!! John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends"
