OPENING SESSION
(1) 7:00 PM: Pastor
J. Dan Gill
Did Paul invent Christianity?
Biography: Dan founded “Higher Ground Church” near Nashville, TN and is Editor in Chief at 21st Century Reformation (21stcr.org). He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and has studied biblical languages at Vanderbilt Divinity School and Belmont University. Dan is the author of “The One – In Defense of God” and lives with his wife Sharon in Tennessee.
Synopsis: With the development of post-biblical theologies, we find extreme dispensationalism that proposes two or more gospels. That is, the Apostle proclaimed a different gospel than that of Jesus and the other apostles. This idea has developed to the point that some have said that Paul is the one who invented Christianity as we now know it. This presentation is a refutation of dispensatationalism and the two gospel theory.
