1 Corinthians 15:1-2 , Romans 1:16 , The message of the gospel must be heard and understood to have the hope of salvation when Christ returns. The gospel of the kingdom of God contains all the knowledge needed to be in the kingdom of God. Most of the professing Christians today say the gospel is that your immortal soul will go to heaven instantly at death if you believe and if not your immortal soul goes to hell. You must also believe in the trinity . They teach that you must make the decision to let Jesus into your heart to save you when it is impossible for anyone to come to Jesus unless the Father draws them as God adds to the church such as should be saved. SORRY, THIS IS NOT THE GOSPEL. The Jehovahs Witnesses believe Jesus is the arc angel Michael and that 144,000 of the most pure of them will go to heaven while the rest live in immortal flesh on Earth, that only these 144,000 can take the bread and wine. SORRY THIS IS NOT THE GOSPEL. In the Worldwide Church of God it was taught that you must keep the Ten Commandments, pay tithes, eat kosher, believe in a binary God and that your spiritual potential was to become God. SORRY THIS IS NOT THE GOSPEL. It does not matter what church you’re in, you do not know the true gospel. You cannot receive the Holy Spirit without knowing the gospel. You cannot be a Christian without understanding that true gospel. The message of the true gospel was taught by Peter on the day of Pentecost, Acts 2:14-36 . Verse 37 “they were cut to the heart”, circumcised of the heart, then Peter finished his message , Acts 2: 38-39 . The people who were circumcised in the heart, the message cut deep in their spirit, they were being drawn by the Father to Jesus and so they were baptized and received the Holy Spirit. It is the message of the true gospel that converts the human spirit, false gospels do nothing. Think about your own experiences and ask yourselves the question, have I heard the true gospel.
