The gospel is a message, good news, about the kingdom of God. It is the who, what, where, when, how and why about how a person can be in that kingdom. It would make no sense at all to know there is a kingdom without also having the answers to the questions that I listed. Yes the gospel is the kingdom of God but it contains much more information that is vital to know to have the hope of being in that kingdom.
