Colossians 1:16 Is used by many to say Jesus is the creator. Did Je sus create all things in heaven, visible or invisible, thrones in heaven, power in heaven and rulers in heaven. GOD has a throne in heaven, GOD is invisible, GOD is a ruler. Did Jesus create GOD ? Is GOD inferior to Jesus ? Did the Son create the FATHER ? What this scripture says is that Jesus is the heir of all that GOD created. If Jesus was the creator then how could he be the heir. Jesus created nothing but inherited everything GOD created. All things were created because of him and for him.
When a person wants a passage to say something, but it does not, a person's mind will pave a way to claim it does. That is why we depend on and wait for God to give clarification. It is a difficult thing to erase our desired outcomes and let the scriptures mean what they say.
