God is the creator of spirits. Do I need to prove that ? God can create any type of spirit He desires. God has created a large variety of spirits. God created angels. God created souls, “ nephesh” living breathing creatures. Man is an animal just like all other animals except he was created the highest form of animal and to also have a relationship with his creator. The soul is the union of the body and spirit, if this union is broken this is called death. James 2:26 John 6:63 Job 32:8 Ecclesiastes 12:7 . This spirit of man is who man really is and is that part of him that God offers salvation to. 1 Corinthians 5:5 Hebrews 12:23. Our fleshly bodies are only a temporary dwelling for this human spirit of man. 2 Corinthians 5:1-2 1 John 3:2 . Two things will happen at the resurrection when Jesus returns, we will become immortal and impeccable. That means to live forever incapable of sin. When Jesus was on the Earth he was mortal but impeccable. Mortal because he had to die. Impeccable because God created his human spirit to be righteous love, just as God Himself is. The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God, Jesus was created righteous, we are not. Jesus entered the kingdom because he was righteous. We have Gods righteousness imputed to us because of our faith in this man God created. Jesus was the first man of the new creation, the second Adam. As God made Adam from scratch so to speak, God did a similar thing with Jesus. The virgin birth separates the 2 Adams. The sin of the first Adam could not be upon the second Adam. Mary was the dust of the ground into which God formed His son. Two Adams means two different creations, one Earthly, one heavenly; one physical and one spiritual. The man Jesus, not the glorified Jesus, is our example to follow, our hope of salvation, this to show us that he indeed was perfect and impeccable. We are to be made after the spiritual image of this man, his human spirit. If then we must become like him then what we are now is tremendously inferior. Look at it this way, Jesus was a spiritual upgrade from what we are. Those who say that Jesus was like us in every way are wrong, because if he was then we have no messiah. Jesus was greater than Abraham, Moses or Solomon because of how his God created him. Our natures must be changed into the divine nature, Jesus demonstrated this nature to us as a man. The divine nature is one that cannot be tempted with evil therefore incapable of sin. The temptation of Jesus by Satan proved that Jesus the man had this nature. Do you think you could go head to head with Satan and win, Jesus did. The great gamble theory that Jesus could have sinned is a lie. As I wrote in the post “The Truth About Temptation “ , a person must respond to what they are being tempted with in order for it to be sin. The mind of Christ must be in us, a mind that had no thoughts of sin or evil. This is what made Jesus like his God. When people see you do they see the Father, are you one with God, do you deserve the same honor as God, we’re you the product of a virgin birth? Neither am I. But all of us should want to be like this man Jesus who was like his God. This is how we truly will be made after Gods image and likeness, but Jesus was the first. The first born of many, the image of the invisible God, the brightness of Gods glory and express image of Gods person. God created Jesus in His own image and then we are created in the image of Jesus. It was Gods will to create other beings to be righteous beings of love, the man Jesus was the first and we have the hope set before us to join Jesus in the new creation of God.
