I believe that claiming the "Jesus is God" is a sinful thing. So many "Christian" songs today all either state or allude to the statement that Jesus is God. Preachers and teachers in church constantly say that Jesus created the Earth and give credit to Him for the things His Father did. I, however, will have no other God before Yahweh. That being the case, I see churches as promoting that sinful behavior. Lately, discussions regarding Christmas seem - to me - to be a sticking point. Well, it's not only Christmas that contributes to what I see as sin, it is mainstream churches in general. How do the rest of you see this the way I do - or do you even see it as an issue?

I find it very interesting that no one has responded to this post. Is this a taboo topic here?

No, it is not a taboo topic, it is just that most here have either heard about this topic and respond to it in the way they choose or they do not read posts concerning it. I have posted many articles on various topics but have very few respond. Guessing about the reason why is useless. I thought the reason this forum existed was to explore Christianity but it seems or at least appears that there are few explorers. I do not let this prevent me from continuing my own exploration. What the Holy Spirit reveals to me I share with forum members, the few who do reply usually do so with an icon but I would prefer dialogue. Some of the replies have been caustic but most have stirred the waters so to speak. Everyone here is at different stages of growth, what scripture calls milk drinkers or meat eaters, but regardless of milk or meat we all must grow else we bury our talent. To become to comfortable with where you are spiritually is dangerous, one should never be satisfied but always hunger and thirst for more, to continue the diligent search.

Yeah, though I have a lot of years behind me, I feel like I'm almost starting over one some topics. I simply wonder if anyone else has thoughts similar to mine. However, since I do seriously see this confused trinity error as unpleasing to Father, I would like to see the thoughts of other's here. I guess I'll just press on elsewhere.
