I have read that some are saying that the antichrist is from the tribe of Dan. This is because they don’t know who the 144,000 elect in Revelation 7 are. They are thinking carnally. Physical descent is not the criteria for determining who these elect 144,000 are. Romans 9:6,7,8 To think the 144,000 are physically descended from Abraham then is not true. Galatians 4:28 plainly identifies the church as the children of the promise, the children of Abraham. Jesus said the Israelites of his day were not the children of Abraham. John 8:39,40,41,42 physical Israel today is the same as in the first century, they deny Christ and are enemies of the gospel.

Paul explains how the gentiles were grafted into the olive tree to replace unbelieving Israelites. The believing Israelites and the believing gentiles are the first fruits, the church composed of former Israelites and former gentiles. This olive tree is the Israel of GOD, those of the faith of Abraham, not physical descendants but spiritual descendants. Therefore the 144,000 are not Israelites of the flesh but of the spirit.

So then, the tribe of Dan today wherever they are cannot be the tribe of the antichrist . The antichrist is cast into the lake of fire, the second death along with the false prophet. Only people that have the Holy Spirit and commit the unpardonable sin, blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, suffer this fate. Hebrews 6:4,5,6 Matthew 12:31,32 Hebrews 10:26,27,28,29 1 John 5:16 The antichrist has the Holy Spirit and blasphemed the Holy Spirit, to be in opposition to Christ one must know the truth in order to deceive the nations, only a man from the tribe of Judah can be king of Israel not the tribe of Dan. Deuteronomy 17:15 the tribe of Judah beginning with king David became the kingly tribe. Therefore to have any scriptural support and to mimic Christ the antichrist will be a Jew.
