Jesus as the uniquely human, non-preexistent Son is a precious gift directly from God the Father (Matthew 16.17).
It's troubling to see so many unitarians expand this definition by saying preexistence does not undermine the humanity of Jesus. Or that preexistence vs. non-preexistence doesn’t really matter. But the fact is the two views cannot ever possibly co-exist.
This type of "big tent" philosophy is also leading to the slow erosion of other fundamental biblical truths.
I, for one, will continue to defend the precious gift that is the non-preexistent human Son of God. So that one day I may come to know "the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death." Phil. 3.10

I agree with your stand. Another aspect of Gods creation of the Christ that some Unitarians deny is the character his God created him with. Scripture calls this character the divine nature and informs us that when in the kingdom the saints will be recreated to be in the image of the man Jesus, our example, who was created with this nature as a human. The mind or spirit of this man must be formed in the saints. With Jesus it was formed when God created him but with the saints it must be formed in the resurrection. This divine nature renders the possessor of it to be unable to sin or be tempted with evil and anyone not having this nature will not be in the kingdom of God.
