I use a method that I call spiritual logic to prove all things. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 , If you know one undeniable proven spiritual truth then you have a base from which to operate so as to build a foundation of truth. If you know that there is only one being, entity or essence that is the one true God then this information would rule out any possibility of there being any other being, entity or essence .
Now then, armed with this fact, how does this one God desire to be worshipped ? John 4:23-24 One clear truth is that we MUST WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH. Therefore, are physical things used in the worship of God, NO. WHAT ARE PHYSICAL THINGS ?
Anything of the physical creation is physical; time, space, matter or energy are all physical things. Then how do we worship, Spirit to spirit, our human spirit to Gods Holy Spirit, that’s it. What about, IN TRUTH, how do we do that ? We have already established that God is one being, so if you attempt to worship Him in any way that violates this truth then your committing idolatry. What does God look like ? John 1:18 , John 5:37 Answer, we do not know. In Genesis 1:26 , who was God talking to ? Spiritual logic dictates that since humans did not yet exist and God is only one being, then it had to be the holy angels as they were the only other beings present.
What does the “image of God” mean ? Spiritual logic has confirmed that God is Spirit therefore the image we are created in is spirit, the human spirit. This spirit in man is in an earthen vessel, our body made of dust, a soul. This human spirit is what will receive salvation in a spirit body. This renders the glorified flesh idea illogical and false. You cannot combine spiritual logic with carnal logic.
Christians must think spirituality not carnally, this takes time and growth as new converts are babes and not mature.
If a person or persons never moves beyond only one or two spiritual truths but keeps concentrating on just one, like proving the trinity false, this will seriously injure their spiritual growth. To develop an obsession over one topic, where you spend most of your time and effort debunking it, robs you of further growth. This spiritual plateauism is dangerous as your knowledge of even those things you possess can be negatively effected. An example of this is while continuing your relentless pursuit of proving Jesus is not God, you out of desperation disprove Christ. You have a fear of scripture that plainly says things about Jesus that you think would make him seem to be God. This denies the fact that Jesus did have the same character as God, same love as God and was as impeccable as God. Your obsession can’t handle this and you continue to insist that Jesus was a man like all men in every way and was capable of sinning. In this they deny the very things God created His son with in order to be the messiah. Spiritual logic would have revealed their error but are they even capable of it.
