Jesus made certain statements in scriptures that should cause us all to ponder what message he was giving.
In Matthew 24:5 Jesus said “many” would come “in his name” saying I am the Christ and shall deceive “many”.
Those Jesus describes are many, not few, they come in his name, they do not claim to be him. If you come in the name of someone else you do not claim to be that person. Whoever these people are they knew Jesus was the Christ and come in his name but yet they are deceivers.

Matthew 7:21-23 Calling Jesus Lord and doing many wonderful works “in his name” is insufficient, Jesus never knew them and they work iniquity. 1 Corinthians 13:2

Matthew 25:1-12 This parable concerns the bridegroom, 10 virgins, the oil in the flask is the Holy Spirit. The groom is Jesus, the bride is the church, the wise virgins are Philadelphians , the foolish Laodiceans. After the doors were shut the 5 foolish virgins were turned away. Isaiah 26:20 , Luke 13:25 , Revelation 3:7 , Revelation 3:18 (gold instead of oil) The elect Philadelphians enter, they had oil, the doors were shut. The Laodiceans have to buy gold, tried in the fire, become martyrs in the tribulation but will yet be in the first resurrection. Revelation 7:9-17 In all these scriptures those Jesus does not know are turned away but it seems as though the tribulation is wake up call for them. Be sober, be vigilant. Do not quench or grieve the Holy Spirit. Luke 13:25. A warning from Jesus.
