Psalm 19:12 , Psalm 40:12 , Psalm 90:8 , Job 6:24 Some sins are easier to see than others and some completely escape our awareness. The saints are drowning in sin but like when Peter failed walking on the water Christ stretches forth his arm to save us. Christ is the staff upon which the righteous lean. We seem to lose every battle but Christ has already won our victory. Sin overtakes us very easily but where it abounds grace abounds much more. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
