Psalm 121:7-8 Amplified Bible
7 The Lord will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your life.
8 The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in [everything that you do]
From this time forth and forever.
A little something I read and a little something of myself.
One of the most complex challenges as a parent is knowing that you can't ultimately protect your children from some hurts and heartbreaks.
Some of that pain is necessary to help them mature and grow. Some of it is just the agonizing result of living in a fallen world.
However, we can be fully confident that if we share the Lord with them and perhaps our spouse and they give their lives to his will, (instead of a devious organization perhaps) nothing can steal them from his ultimate victory, love, care and spiritual reunion with him and with us.
Knowing how we love them, imagine how much the Father and Jesus love us and long to bring us to that place of safety in that true christian spiritual house all together.
Until we get home, isn't it comforting to know that tthey are watching over us and over those we love, now and forever.
