One of the qualifications made clear by Paul in 1Tim 3; Titus 1 is that the presbyter (pastor, elder) is a male only and preferably married with obedient children.

For example, note how Paul qualifies the same list he gives to Timothy by saying in the previous chapter:

I do not allow a woman to teach or domineer over a man.

In other words, the woman is not to oversee males in the congregation with the teaching authority Paul lists for a presbyter.

And that's because, Paul says, "Adam was formed first, then Eve.

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman, because she was completely deceived, fell into sin."

This is why Restoration Fellowship does not agree with some non-trini ministries who have decided to start ordaining/appointing females to oversee some churches.

Good morning Carlos. Hope all is well. I'm curious, what prompted you to lob this contentious grenade in here?

Do you know how many female Overseers are within the COGGC?

Also, I've heard that there is a COGGC board or group who are all male and they "license" Overseers. They don't ordain/appoint Overseers/Pastors. Could you please explain how this all works?
