The article I posted titled "HERE A LITTLE THERE A LITTLE PRECEPT UPON PRECEPT LINE UPON LINE" was posted to demonstrate how to put the scriptures together in order to arrive at GODS truth, to rightly divide the word of truth. I have been doing this for over 30 years and it has benefited me greatly. However, it should be very obvious that this process is part of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. If I were to go to any church and speak of these things I would be thrown out and called the devils servant.
I truly hope that will not be the case here on Simply Christian. I have been here on this forum now for over two years posting hundreds of articles and in them have shared with you what I have learned in those 30 years. I have had various responses, everything from complete silence to attacks on my character. It was my hope in joining this forum that GOD would, as the HELPER, use the articles in whatever way HE would choose. I have found since being here for two years articles posted by others that make comments that I can see are in error but my attempts to have a loving discussion concerning these things seem to be of no interest to most. Some that did respond did not do it in good conduct. I have been quite frankly shocked and very disappointed in a few comments made that I feel were totally out of line.
When I first began here I stated that I cannot teach anyone, I cannot be a leader, I do not want your money , I am not trying to convert anyone; I came here to, in GODS love, share with you what GOD has blessed me with and I do not demand or expect you to believe me and would be amazed if any did. What would amaze me is that if even one did. I have tried to encourage you to give up on men and go to GOD and let HIM teach you through Christ because this is what I did 30 years ago.
There is no way I can convince you of anything but I had hoped to be used as sort of a catalyst to stir up your minds and to consider things you may have never considered before using the scriptures to back up what I write. I am fully aware that GOD and Christ are in total control of all things pertaining to the church and long ago removed human ministry as this became the main source of Satans deceptions.
I do not claim to know all things as I am still growing in the spirit myself but I also know that I am not a novice or a babe. All I ask of this forum is to do what its mission statement declares, be a safe place to explore Christianity. In order to fulfill this we must interact with each other with mutual respect and GODLY love . This forum exists for people who are searching for answers, who have been hurt or mistreated by bogus organizations or are having issues with whatever group they may be in. In Malachi 3:16 and Hebrews 10:25 are companion verses admonishing believers to assemble together and even more so as they see the day approaching. This forum gives us that opportunity and the day is approaching.
