It would be good to read all of Mark 10:17-31 as well as to remember other scriptures; Matthew 10:37,38,39 John 12:25 Hebrews 13:5 There may have been more , Matthew 19:16-30 and Luke 18:18-30 , to this encounter with the rich ruler to consider. Abraham was rich, Solomon was rich, Job had wealth but lost it yet after he learned from Yahweh his fortunes were restored twofold.
