There are probably many different interpretations of this verse but after examining Luke 12:51,52,53 I see it as all the many divisions of what is called Christianity. The JW’s, Worldwide Church of GOD, Unitarians and Trinitarians, all the various false doctrines that sow the seeds of deception causing families and friends to ostracize each other shun each other. This is because as the prophets have said , Daniel 8:12 Isaiah 59:4,14 2 Thessalonians 2:10,12 Jeremiah 7:28 Jeremiah 8:6 2 Timothy 3:6,7
