Let’s say you want to find verses about loving God. While a basic search would allow you to find where “love” and “God” appear in close proximity, the quickest way to find verses where God is the object of love is with a clause search.

Note: Clause searches are only available on desktop.

So, key your clause search to the SBLGNT (Greek New Testament: SBL Edition) or LHB (Lexham Hebrew Bible) and enter the search, verb-sense:to love (care) object:God, and press Enter. You can also try verb:love object:God, and compare the results.
