Recently, a question that has caused much debate and discussion is what Paul meant in Galatians 2:16 by a phrase normally translated: “This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ.” Some argue it should be translated as “the faith of Jesus Christ,” as shown in the footnotes of many translations.
