The word like in Hebrew is Strongs article H3644 , it means like, as or when , dependent on the text in which it is used.
Genesis 3:22 “like one of us” or “become as one of us” . Yahweh created man in HIS own image and after HIS OWN LIKENESS.
Did Yahweh create the angels the same way ? Just what does it mean to be the image and likeness of Yahweh ? Satan wanted to be like Yahweh. The name Michael, the angel, means “who is like Yahweh” , so does the name of the prophet Micah , this is a question not an identification, if it applied to the angel it should have been “he is like Yahweh” . According to Genesis 3:22 man is like Yahweh. To draw a final conclusion must require much more information than just looking up words in Strongs Concordance.

Satan wanted to be worshipped even though he didn't deserve to be worshipped. He wanted to lord it over others and have what he viewed as "special privileges" without having love and self-sacrifice. He was selfish.

Jehovah is the only Almighty Creator. He deserves to be worshipped.

Although Jesus is made in God's image, Jesus would never dream of wanting to be worshipped as if he was a god. The idea is anathema to him. His love for God is complete.

Those who work with him in the assignment as the 144,000 also would not desire prominence or divisions the way the various denominations like to teach.

The scriptures and holy spirit make clear that Michael is Jesus. Jehovah has not given such authority to any other person in the universe. In Revelation, Jesus is depicted as the Lamb, the Word, and other figurative images. He is the archmessenger, over all the angels. Only Jesus was authorized to open the seals of Jehovah's judgment. The vision of Michael casting down the Devil is parallel to Jesus' execution of judgment as King.

"The anointing is teaching you," says John. To draw any other conclusion than what the holy spirit makes clear would be presumptuous.
