Truth is very important but so is spirit. God must be worshipped in spirit and in truth. The truth part seems to be more easily understood than the spirit part. The Father is seeking both not just one. To worship in spirit is to use no physical thing, none. To use anything physical is totally unacceptable to God. In spirit, your human spirit to Gods Holy Spirit, that’s it, nothing else.
It is time to move on, move forward with your eyes focused on the kingdom. Leave the past behind, if the blind lead the blind the ditch is waiting for both. What was the advice of Jesus about this, Matthew 15:13-14 , LET THEM ALONE , God did not plant the witnesses , you do not pull them up by their roots, God will do that. Our time should be used for our growth. This constant attack serves no purpose, it is putting your hand on the plow and looking back. Let yourself heal in the Spirit from the abuse you suffered, count it as a joy that you took up your own cross and followed Christ. Vengeance belongs to God not you. Love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be the children of the Father.
I agree to a point. We shouldn't be aggressive in trying to get our loved ones out but everyone is at different stages of processing the grief and other emotions that come from getting out from under a high control group. Some need to emote regarding what is being put forth by the organization. Just like being outraged about things going on in the world - we lament it but know ultimately it is all in God's hands.

I tried desperately to convince my sister and brother in law to come out of the WCG using scripture in the process to no avail. Today they shun me. So you see I do understand. I gave up and moved forward tending to my own growth in the Spirit while knowing that if their time is not now the Father will place them in another.
