Only Yahweh has eternal life. Eternal is defined as, without end or beginning, lasting and existing forever. Humans have a beginning. The hope in Christ is everlasting life, defined as, a beginning with no end. Saying humans are eternal would also mean they are omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. The attributes of Yahweh are only in Yahweh as HE is the only true GOD. Matthew 12:37 , Proverbs 18:21 , Matthew 12:36 , James 3:6 When I discovered this truth I developed the practice of never using eternal life to describe what my hope in Christ is.
