Jesus was indeed born under the Law of Moses, e.g., he was circumcised and kept laws like the Sabbath, food laws, etc.
But the question is whether or not Jesus continued to keep that same Law during his new covenant ministry. If he did, then Jesus clearly did not practice what he preached, I.e., new covenant Christianity!

In Matthew 5:17 Jesus did not abolish the law but fulfilled it. Isaiah 42:21
Jesus gave two commandments, love God and neighbor, Matthew 22:39-40 Paul preached that love was the fulfillment of the law, Romans 13:8 Galatians 5:14 The two commandments Jesus gave were greater than the law , Mark 12:31 . Anyone born under the law does not have the Spirit required to fulfill it, the Holy Spirit. Romans 5:5 Christ had the same agape as his God and Father, John 15:9. Jesus said that he was not of this world/creation as he was the very first new man. Revelation 3:14 Jesus was the new covenant and when it appeared to many that he broke the law he was actually fulfilling it. Jesus did not work to keep the law, by his nature of agape fulfilled the symbolism of the law with the reality of Gods love. Jesus was the redeemer, the sacrifice, the mediator and high priest after Melchizedek not Moses. John 1:17 Isaiah 42:6 , Jesus is the new covenant, Mary was under the law and Jesus was born of her, into a world under the law and things done to him as an infant were not by his choice. Again, where it appeared that Jesus was breaking the law he was actually fulfilling it with his Gods love. From the womb of his mother God was the God of Jesus. Psalm 22:9-10 Jesus was under neither covenant but was the new covenant. The savior did not need saved or forgiveness of sin but was the one who made possible forgiveness and salvation for the world.
