Jehovah's Witness facing more than 50 sexual assault-related charges withdraws bail application - ABC News

Key points:

  • A Sunshine Coast man accused of the rape and sexual assault of members of the Jehovah's Witnesses community has withdrawn his bail application
  • Court documents state the alleged offending occurred over a period of years at several locations throughout Queensland
  • Police claim in court documents that some of the alleged victims were "ostracised" when they tried to report the matter to senior members of the church

What devastating suffering this cult and a lot of members have caused to people and children.
I think crimes against children are the worst.
But what makes it worse, what makes it evil, is how the victims and their families are treated. For years.
Children are often not believed, not helped, not protected, cast out by this organazation and members.

My thoughts:
Lock up the accused also fhe others that were sometimes present during the abuse.
His wife is completely blind and ignorant if it comes to her husband and wt. She is a danger to children too.
Ignorance can be a choice!

Alleged victims? I don't think so.

My friend, a sister and her parents, told me once her 4 brothers were sexually abused by a brother for years. Her father was a former pioneer and an elder at that time, some 20 years ago or a little longer.
This brother was the best friend of her father and a family friend.
He pretended to be annointed and was a pioneer, so brothers and sisters looked up to him.
The parents reported him to the police in The Hague in Holland after being adviced by another brother, also an elder. But this elder wanted to remain anonymous, because he was afraid of the organization. The police found out this man sexually abused over 50 children. Children from brothers and sisters, children from Bible studies and return visits.
My friends father was forced to step down as an elder. The abuser was sentenced for only 3 years, because of old age. The children get life long, don't they? In her congregation in Scheveningen (The Hague) at that time there were 5 pedophiles, a married couple included.
There was a pedophile in my congregation. No one knew, but the elders and his wife, a former friend of mine who told me herself a few years ago
Still the elders put a bookstudy in their house and they accepted. I was in hat bookstudy and famlies with children, years ago.
I'm so glad I'm out of that evil cult. I think one of the most dangerous and evil cults.
