This proves sin is a function of mind not body. The mind controls the body. Adam and Eve had no knowledge of good or evil prior to eating the forbidden fruit. They could not sin, but not because they were righteous but because they were ignorant. Righteousness is knowing good and evil but always doing the good and never the evil. You can’t know one within the other.
