Isaiah 54:17
This verse describes the protection God gives to His elect saints during the tribulation. The mark on the forehead seals the elect saints from all harm. Revelation 7:3 However there is another group of saints that do not receive protection or the mark of God called Laodiceans, Revelation 3:14-18 who are Luke warm in the faith and have one foot in Jesus and the other in the world. These Laodiceans will be martyred for this reason. Revelation 7:9 At the return of Christ both of these groups, the elect and Laodiceans will be in the kingdom of God. Of the seven churches mentioned in Revelation there were only two that Christ found no fault with, Smyrna and Philadelphia. Today the churches of Philadelphia and Laodicea are being formed for their role in the last days. I encourage everyone here on Simply Christian to yearn and desire with all your heart the Lord Jesus the Messiah and his God so we will become the faithful Philadelphians and receive the mark of Gods protection from the horrors of what the future will bring.
