In short the answer is no. Christians can use alcohol. The sin involving alcohol is drunkenness. Noah’s drunkenness was because before the flood there was no fermentation but after there was. Noah was the first ever to get drunk. Noah did not therefore become drunk intentionally . Most all those Scriptures that are used by Proponents of this error fail to point out that these scriptures openly say it was drunkenness these scriptures were speaking of.

Some preachers say it was only grape juice and not wine in scriptures that show wine in a positive way. The wine Jesus made from water, the word wine is G3631 in Strongs and it means wine. The same is true in 1 Timothy 5:23. Jesus never condemns any proper use of alcohol only it’s misuse. Jesus made wine and drank wine. Well after all of this I think I’ll have a glass myself.
