2 Peter 3:18 Growing in knowledge is fairly easy to understand but how do we grow in grace ? Please respond with your thoughts about this.

1 Timothy 3:16 This statement by the Apostle Paul was true when he penned the words. All scripture that is of the original writer is true, however a we both agree there are many errors in the modern translations. My point is that this doesn’t matter because the Holy Spirit of the FATHER is the restorer of all truth, the Elijah to come. When a Christian reads contaminated scriptures of modern bibles they are enabled by the spirit to identify these errors and find the truth. I have been doing this since 1993. The more one exercises this GOD given ability the better they will be at it.

To practically apply "growing in grace" daily, integrate these actionable steps rooted in biblical principles and real-world application:

1. Prioritize forgiveness as a daily discipline

Actively forgive others, especially in small, unnoticed moments (e.g., letting go of a rude comment or unmet expectation). Use the "forgiveness, mercy, service" self-inventory method: weekly assess your progress and set specific goals1. For example, write a note of reconciliation to someone you’ve struggled to forgive.

2. Recognize grace in ordinary moments

Train yourself to notice undeserved kindness (e.g., a stranger’s smile or an unexpected favor) and label it as grace. Keep a gratitude journal focusing on these "grace sightings," including both divine provisions (like safety during travel) and simple joys (like a child’s laughter)2.

3. Engage in intentional spiritual practices

  • Scripture study: Dedicate 10–15 minutes daily to passages emphasizing grace (e.g., Ephesians 2:8–9, 2 Corinthians 12:9).
  • Prayer: Use the prayer from Bible Study Tools: "Help me put myself in the path of your love and grace" to frame your requests4.
  • Fellowship: Join a small group focused on grace-driven growth, mirroring Acts 2:42’s model of teaching, meals, and prayer46.

4. Serve others tangibly

Channel grace into action by volunteering in ways that stretch your comfort zone (e.g., serving meals at a shelter instead of just church events)1. Offer practical help to someone in need, viewing it as distributing God’s "divine ability" (2 Corinthians 8:7)5.

5. Embrace continual learning and growth

Pursue new skills (e.g., music lessons or writing) as acts of stewardship, recognizing that "sustaining grace" empowers personal development7. Pair this with meditating on 2 Peter 3:18 daily, declaring, "I am growing in grace in every aspect of my life"5.

6. Cultivate awareness of the Holy Spirit’s work

Acknowledge moments of conviction or guidance as grace-driven transformation. For example, pause when impatient and ask, "How can I respond with Christ’s grace here?"6

By weaving these practices into routines, grace becomes both a lens for interpreting life and a catalyst for Christlike action.
