Our purpose is to address a pressing issue that affects the lives of many individuals: the shunning policy enforced by the Jehovah's Witnesses Organisation.
The Dutch Foundation Against Watchtower Shunning, led by Chairman Henri Dahlem, as a steadfast force dedicated to confronting this policy head-on and working tirelessly to bring about its cessation. The Dutch Foundation Against Watchtower Shunning stands as a beacon of hope, a collective voice amplifying the concerns of those who have endured the harsh ramifications of this policy.
Shunning is a practice that can have devastating consequences, causing the breakdown of familial, spousal, social, emotional, and economic bonds. The emotional harm and isolation experienced by those who are shunned are significant, and it is disheartening to hear stories of individuals who have tragically lost their lives.
Our foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about the harmful effects of shunning through various means, including political, media, and legal campaigns. We strive to bring about change by advocating for the recognition of shunning as a harmful practice and urging governments and lawmakers to take action. To further our cause, we have partnered with a reputable international law firm, and the funds we raise will primarily be allocated to cover legal fees.
