You probably feel like I do sometimes, when you look back on the things you did and said and shudder!
What was I thinking? Why did I treat them like that? Why did I act like that? How can I ever recover from this sin that I can't seem to shake?
Well thankfully, we can let things go and move on. If our heavenly Father forgave Mannasah, we have reasons to feel relief.
Check these out:
“‘Come now, let us settle the matter,’ says the Lord. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.’” — Isaiah 1:18
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.” — Ephesians 1:7
“The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him” — Daniel 9:9
“Who is a God like you, who pardons sins and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.” — Micah 7:18-19
"Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven." — Luke 6:37
"If he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, 'repent,' you must forgive him." — Luke 17:4
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." — 1 John 1:9
"For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you." — Psalm 86:5
"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." — Ephesians 4:32
The bible is full of verses that show God's grace. I am so thankful because I have acted foolishly in my life.
All praise goes to our Father and his Son, our King and Savior.
