What an absolutely fascinating compilation of thought provoking statements. I really enjoyed the part about those who don't see the bible as an authority are not allowed to deny that Christians do. So there is the line drawn with a giant permanent marker. Those who don't see the bible as having authority and take it out or leave it out of the discussion don't see God as having authority. If you engage with someone who sees themselves as the authority and not God then you can never convince them of anything. Is it a waste of your time? No. They may take notice of your conviction, but I wouldn't spend to much energy on these types of people.
