Romans 3:28-30

"...therefore do we reckon a man to be declared righteous by faith, apart from works of law. The God of Jews only [is He], and not also of nations? yes, also of nations; since one [is] God who shall declare righteous the circumcision by faith, and the uncircumcision through the faith." (Young's Literal Translation)

"For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law. Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, since God is one—who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith." (English Standard Version)

":logizometha gar dikaiousthai pistei anthrōpon chōris ergōn nomou ē ioudaiōn o theos monon ouchi kai ethnōn nai kai ethnōn eiper eis o theos os dikaiōsei peritomēn ek pisteōs kai akrobustian dia tēs pisteōs."

One God of both Jews and Gentiles. Seems pretty straight forward that that would be so. One Messiah was for all mankind as well. I wonder, Works of The Law, does this maybe not necessarily mean obedience is not a requirement? Following a written code of conduct is different than following a principle I guess.

In our Grace Fellowship meeting yesterday, someone quoted Lori to explain what Romans teaches about law keeping and obedience...

"Don't pay it back. Pay it forward."

Spot on.
