The nearly universal teaching in most churches is that Jesus was raised from the dead in his glorified body. Then this is extended to say that in the first resurrection the saints also will have glorified fleshly bodies.

In 1 Corinthians 15:48-53 , verse 48 is contrasting the body of the first Adam with the current body of the second Adam; Earthly verses heavenly. Verse 49 plainly states that now we are Earthly but will become heavenly. Verse 50 says this current Earthly body cannot inherit the kingdom of God; that this body of corruption cannot inherit incorruption. Flesh and blood which is corruption is not what inherits incorruption , the flesh is NOT GLORIFIED.

If this Earthly flesh and blood body is destroyed, God has another body for us, not made with hands. 2 Corinthians 5:1 Hebrews 9:11 Jesus entered the true tabernacle not made with hands, not of this creation, that is not physical, not of Adam. While we are currently flesh we groan, desire and long for the day to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling. We groan and are burdened while flesh, not wanting to be naked but wanting the heavenly body and with it immortality. 2 Corinthians 5:2-4

In 1 John 3:2 John says that it does not yet appear what we shall be but when Jesus appears we will be like him for we shall see him as he is.

John was an eye witness of the resurrected Christ and would have seen him as he was but what he saw was obviously not a glorified body. So then what did John see ? John saw a Jesus that was not glorified.

John 16:7 Jesus had to go away or ascend to the Father else the Holy Spirit would not come. John 7:39 the Holy Spirit could not come until Jesus was glorified. Jesus did not ascend to the Father until 40 days later and then 10 days after that the Holy Spirit was given. The error of glorified flesh came by assuming Jesus was glorified when raised from the dead, he was not. 1 Corinthians 15:21 insists that a man would make possible the resurrections. Not a glorified fleshly man, just a man. Jesus made possible two resurrections, first and second, the second by his own from the dead as a man and the first when he ascended into the clouds, in the air, which is where the saints will meet the glorified Jesus and be made like he is. Matthew 13:43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun. John 12:16 after Jesus was glorified they remembered, John 14:26, the Helper, the Holy Spirit helped the disciples remember. Jesus was not glorified at his resurrection but at his ascention. 2 Corinthians 5:1 speaks of a body that is 100% spirit, 1 Corinthians 15:44, John 3:5-6.

1 Timothy 3:16 , is not God but Jesus manifested in the flesh. Notice Jesus was RECEIVED UP INTO GLORY. Glorified at his ascension.

All through scripture the flesh is portrayed as our problem, what we must overcome, what we are in conflict against. Galatians 5:17 Why would God ever want to glorify it ? The flesh profits nothing. If we are to become the image of the heavenly, SPIRIT, God is spirit, angels are spirits then we are to become spirits.

Those in error that preach glorified flesh are using carnal thinking to reason out things they do not understand. This is how teachings like the trinity and immortal soul started.

This is all very interesting - (Dutch Basis Bible ) 1 Corinthians 15:51 a divine secret - we won't all die first. When the last trumpet sounds, we will all be changed in an instant. For one day the trumpet will be blown. Then the dead will rise from te dead as immortals. And we will be changed at that time. I have Matthew 24:30-31 and Revelation 11:15 placed at verse 51 as a reminder note as I read it with a friend.
Matthew 24:30 - And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. All the peoples of th earth will see the Son of Man coming int he clouds in his radiant heavenly power and majesty. And they will cry [of regret]. 31 He will send forth his angels with a loud trumpet blast. They will gather the believers from the north, east, south and west, from all over the world.
Revelation 11:15 - The seventh angel blew his trumpet. And voices in heaven cried aloud: "From now on, (in an instant?) the kingship of the world belongs to the Lord and his Anointed One! He shall be King forever!"

Mark 14 pops in my head and another one. Mark 14:58 - They said, "We heard him say, 'I will destroy this temple that was made by man. And in tree days I will build another one that was not made by man.'
And there is another note: Daniel 2:34 - While you were watching, a stone was cut loose, and no man did it (Berean Study Bible says: 'not by human hands') The stone rolled down and hit the statue's feet. He shattered the feet wich were of iron and clay (could the clay be earth, as in human. Could the iron be spiritual, spiritual human or from the Spirit?)

And Daniel 2:44 - But when those kings come, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. It will never be conquered by any other kingdom. It will crush (changed in an instant as well?) all those kingdoms and put an end to them. But that kingdom itself will endure forever. 45 Therefore you saw this. That kingdom will come into existence (in an instant as well?) without a human being. Just as the stone in your dream was cut loose without human intervention, crushing the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold. The great God has informed the king what will happen in the future. The dream will come true. And you can rest assured that this is the meaning of it."

Whatever it will be It's probably not what we can understand yet. It will be so much more, so much better. So brilliant. So peaceful. I think.

It is clear that Jesus was raised up in glory at his resurrection and the same will be the case for those Christians who have died. 1 Cor. 15:35 shows that like a seed develops into a plant, so too the mortal physical body that we now have, like the seed, will become the glorified tangible immortal body at resurrection time (or changed “in the blink of an eye” if we are living at the time of Jesus’ return). “It is raised in glory” (1 Cor. 15:43). This was also clearly the case with Jesus.

The issue with “flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom” (vs 50) is resolved when one realizes that the phrase “flesh and blood” simply means ‘a mortal’ (See the various scholarly comments on that) and is shown in the rest of the verse as because we decay, but will be raised immune to decay (vs. 53). It is also pictured as being like putting on an overcoat because the mortal body must put on immortality. All of this concerns the subject of resurrection and so must included Jesus’ resurrection because “we shall be just like him” (Phil. 3:21). To me the idea of Jesus only gaining his glory after ascension does not fit with the many Scriptures on this subject. It seems clear that Jesus had the glorified immortal physical body in contrast to the natural mortal body at the very point at the point of his resurrection.

Blessings

The fact is that the Spirit could not be given until Jesus was glorified and he had to go away, ascend, to be glorified and John did not know what the saints would be, why if he saw a glorified Jesus. That seed you mention has no resemblance to the plant produced. It is the spirits of just men made perfect and to truly be in Gods image is not flesh but spirit. The flesh profits nothing, it is the spirit that gives life.

What you have written about the glorification of Jesus is not based on scripture. Scripture reveals that there were certain conditions that had to be met before the Holy Spirit could be given: John 7:39 Jesus had to be first glorified. Jesus had to go away: John 16:7 , Acts 1:4-5 , John 12:16 . The Spirit was given on Pentecost, ten days after Jesus went away. The truth here is clear and it is not my interpretation or opinion, it is plain scripture. The incorrect assumption on your part is what leads to error. You assume Jesus was raised glorified flesh when Jesus says that which is born of the flesh is flesh but that which is born of the Spirit ( this refers to Jesus and the saints ) is spirit. Paul describes Jesus in heaven as a life giving spirit. Paul said as we bore the image of the Earthly man we will bear the image of the heavenly man. All of heaven is populated by spirit beings. You are wrong that spirit beings , the angels, do not have a body, they do and it is 100% spirit. The image of God is not flesh of any kind it is spirit, the flesh profits nothing. As Anthony Buzzard is fond of saying, this is not hard. The saints will be like the angels; impeccable, immortal, without gender and 100% spirit. This is what Yahweh meant when He said, let us make man after our image and according to our likeness. What you are saying is that the saints will become immortal souls, a well know lie to those who know the truth.

To satisfy the laws demand a righteous man was required, not a glorified flesh man, not God Almighty, but a man. To prove that a righteous man lived and a righteous man was raised from the dead, not a glorified flesh man, not a God man, not some spirit, but just a man. 1 Corinthians 15:21 , Indeed the resurrection chapter mentions nothing about glorified flesh. John 20:17 , John 7:39 , John 16:7 .

To go with your idea scriptures would have to say;
1 Corinthians 15:45, and so it is written, the first man Adam was made a living soul, the last Adam was made a life giving glorified fleshly man.

1 John 3:6, That which is of the flesh is flesh and that which is of the spirit is glorified flesh.

1 Corinthians 15:44, it is sown a natural body, it is raised a glorified fleshly body.

Also closely examine 1 Corinthians 15:50. The perishable is flesh and blood and this perishable does not inherit the imperishable. That is to say flesh and blood does not become imperishable . Spirit is imperishable.
Your focus is on flesh not spirit and the human spirit is what God gives salvation to. Hebrews 12:23 .
1 Corinthians 15:35-42 , God sows the seed of His Spirit in the good Earth, that seed produces a body very different from the seed that was sown. Paul uses physical analogies to demonstrate the difference between flesh and spirit. Jesus is the messiah and fulfilled all things written about him in the Psalms, prophets and law of Moses. Luke 24:44-53 , part of this is the second resurrection where people will be raised mortal flesh and blood which Jesus sealed in his own resurrection. The first resurrection was sealed when Jesus ascended and was glorified so that he could send the Holy Spirit. It had to be done in this reverse order otherwise there would not be a second resurrection. Again, glorified flesh is a terminology like trinity or immortal soul. None are mentioned in scripture all are incorrect.
To be transformed is to be dramatically changed in composition or structure both inner and outer in form, appearance and character.
Mark 12:25
